Our Story
Founded to be a little different from other companies.
Following an aha moment in 2007, and a deep dive into product ingredients, the realisation hit that there were some nasties in our daily products. The need to share this with others led to the start of Going Natural, and what a journey it has become.
From homely small beginnings, operating on monthly orders with one or two open days a year, Going Natural has mushroomed into a fully fledged shop, which we like to call The Pod.
We are passionate about health, healing and wholesomeness, and invite you to explore our family-run health store either remotely, or by popping down to the pod(shop) situated on the urban edge of Durbanville, Cape Town.
Our aim is to make available to you, a good selection of healthy products to aid you on your journey to all things natural, thereby maintaining or regaining your health and walking in your God-given purpose on this earth.
Our product range has grown as we have worked towards becoming a one-stop destination shop. We cover staple pantry foods, household cleaning products, head to toe body care, natural make-up, supplements and more. In addition Fresh Produce, Dairy, Seedlings have been added to our in-house app, a separate, yet vital part of the health road to bring good products to good people at our very best prices.
With delivery options available we hope to make it easier for you to experience your own going natural journey.

You can count me as married, mother of three, granny of two, so far ... , a few pets in my life, my feet firmly planted on African soil and my hand held by the hand of my Creator.
With nursing being my passion I spent the first years of my working life at patients bedsides and then moved outside to industry. Lots of water has flowed under the proverbial bridge and I now find myself doing what I loved playing most as a child, and that is shop-shop.
Our current shop was a stable back in the day, and as one of my favourite things is word play, I just have to say that Going Natural is a stable place to shop.

Daugter of The Most High King and Mom of two littles, I am passionate about wholelistic health, homeschooling and putting God at the center of my family.
My life's journey has taken me from a Stellenbosch Conservation Ecology Honours to game-ranging in the Natal bush, wedding planning in the Western Cape and helping Mother Dearest take the reigns with her fourth child, Going Natural.
I am blessed to be a part of the Going Natural journey and love being able to have a platform where I can exercise my God-given talents.
